Hi everybody

Unfortunately we have to tell you the sad news that we have disbanded „Dogs Bollocks“.
A week ago we decided to call it a day.
And no we didn’t fight and yes we’re still the best of friends.
It just started to feel like a grind to play together or like work and there wasn’t any sense of fun or hunger anymore.
The end of the „Dogs“ will not change anything in our workings with LuxNoise.
We will play a farewell show in our home from home, the „Hirscheneck“ on Friday the 12 April and will release 4 new songs online as a little parting gift from us to you, our fans.

Ten years down the line and the „Vibes.machine“ is running full throttle, screaming, smoking and with no regard for the speed limit.

This rock’n’roll journey is heading straight down the line to hell and back again. They have tatooed „authentic, honest, dirty and loud„ on their proud chest and they will tell you in your face that they’re gonna fuck you up.

In ten years „the vibes“ have recorded three albums have played 200 shows with the likes of Motörhead, Tito & Tarantula, Nashville Pussy, The Masons, Crucified Barbara, Valient Thorr, and many others; recorded three videos, got over taken on the motorway by their on trailer, made countless visits to radiostations and done loads of blabla interviews, busted the drum kit 21 times, fallen of the stage four times, rehearsed 1300 times (for fuck sake, who’s counting?), got bloody fingers 19 times, drank like there’s no tomorrow a trillion times and were surprised there always was one, smoked like sheffield in the sixties, 2 songs were put on film soundtracks, surprisingly only one amp gave up it’s services, won a bandcontest and got nothing for it, got write up’s in loads of those old fashioned things called newspapers, moved the rehearsal room three times, played our home-from-home „kiff“ 10 times, ate a herd of cows, took a photo with Lemmy (legend), repaired the Leslie too many damn times, swore like champions, driven thousand of miles and spent hours in that bloody bus, and yes we talked alot aswell, had one fisticuffs, played always too loud, busted the backstage five times, played the „Hallenstadion“ in Zürich once, found loads of friends of both sexes, joined the record label „LuxNoise and still we are hot for this shit! Un-fucking-believable

And this needs to be celebrated in style!

Unsere Schweinerocker Bitch Queens releasen zusammen mit den deutschen punkrockern Trashmonkeys eine Split 7". Dies ist der Auftakt einer 3 teiligen Reihe mit der die

«Für die Aarauer Rocker ist an diesem Freitag ein Traum in Erfüllung gegangen.The Vibes haben die Ehre, vor ihren Vorbildern Motörhead den Massen im Zürcher Hallenstadion einzuheizen. Punkt 5 vor 8 machen sich The Vibes neben der Riesenbühne auf ihren Wahnsinnsaufritt parat. Sänger und Gitarrist MoJo hat sich bereits die Gitarre umgeschnallt und stimmt sich mit ein paar Licks ein, sein Bruder Matlock (Sänger, Bassist, Organist und Bluesharp-Spieler der Band) zieht noch ein letztes Mal an seiner Zigarette, während Stuntman Jack (drums) sich mit seinen Sticks warm spielt. – – Jetzt!: Das Licht geht aus und The Vibes entern die Bühne. Logisch, die drei geben alles was sie haben, um dem Rockpublikum gehörig einzuheizen. Spätestens beim dritten Song ist der Funke ihrer energiegeladenen Show auf das Publikum übergesprungen und The Vibes ernten echte Anerkennung und verdammt viel Applaus (Bilder). Schnell wird klar, dass die Jungs vor einem rappelvollen Hallenstadion bestehen können und sie liefern eine gnadenlose Rock'n'Roll Show ab. Wie heisst es so schön ein paar Stunden später im Gästebuch auf der Band-Website?: «The Vibes & Motörhead, das passt wie die Vorhaut auf die Eichel!»
